Respect the ride

Brand ethos

Rider Justice is a an attorney-founded support system for motorcycle riders. Beyond legal service, RJ is involved in the biker community, sponsoring rides, supporting local causes, and providing rider safety courses across the country.

RJ approached GCL Creative to establish a brand identity that would speak to the motorcycle community, and create a lasting impression on bikers.

We set out to provide designs that empower riders, and create an environment where anyone who supports biker freedom and equality can easily join the Rider Justice army.

With a defined audience in view, we created a logo system that embodies an alternative americana vibe—using traditional elements like stars and stripes in a flag shape, but applying an untraditional layout to add some quirk.

To compliment the primary logo we created the RJ shield, a more iconic element to use in other applications to represent RJ’s power and support.

What the client said:

Before George started designing a logo for Rider Justice he spent the time getting to know my firm and the clients I work with. Rather than telling me what he thought my logo should look like. He asked me questions that dove deep into the motorcycle world that I love so much. George researched who my clients identify with, where they work and how they play. He got a true sense of who I am and the clients I work with. He then presented me with several great concepts that eventually led to our final logo. As a result of George’s amazing work, we now have a logo that speaks to the motorcycle community in a way that is both powerful and genuine.

With regard to brand development, George knocked it out of the park again. I tasked him with trying create designs for clothing, accessories and swag to help Rider Justice become a lifestyle brand. Something that people would want to wear and/or use and help spread the word about my company and he killed it! People are now wearing our gear around town and on their rides. I can’t wait to see how else George can help my firm in the future!
