Brand strategy

The cattle trade is as ancient as commerce itself, but at Tuna Rosa Ranch, the practice is far from traditional. Through generations of selective breeding, the ranch has perfected a process that doesn’t just improve quality—it elevates the very essence of what’s possible in cattle production.

With cutting-edge genetic testing and an accredited system that sets the industry standard, Tuna Rosa Ranch is leading a new era of breeding. It’s no longer about following the path—it’s about forging one where excellence isn’t just a goal, but a continuous pursuit.

The ranch’s innovative approach is built on a foundation of mastery and ambition, pushing boundaries and setting a new benchmark for the future of cattle breeding.

Iconography

As is tradition in the industry, the brand mark incorporated into the logo—and used as the cattle brand—is a monogram of the ranch owner's initials: "JE." We also developed additional icons to represent other key areas of interest, helping to communicate the full value of Tuna Rosa’s standards.

Social Media Engagement

The lack of digital development within the industry has driven online sales funnels through social media. It’s not uncommon for ranchers to work the land while his wife peruses Facebook and Instagram listings for the next addition to their herd.

Brand Guide

BTW: A “tuna rosa” is the vibrant prickly pear fruit that grows across the ranch land. The watercolor cactus motif used in the background began as my original painting, which I then manipulated in Photoshop. Inspired by the land’s natural bounty, it symbolizes the ranch’s flourishing herd and its commitment to continually advancing genetics.

What the client said:

I have had the pleasure of working with George on two different projects. Both projects that we worked on were very different in scope and creative needs. George was extremely detailed and really wanted to know more about each company to fully understand the feel, look, and needs that the branding needed to convey. He for lack of a better term - nailed each branding concept and highly recommend his abilities and him.
